The Wayne Coombs Agency of Los Angeles was at one time the leading Christian Artist Talent Agency, by representing the likes of The Imperials, Pat & Debbie Boone, Jon Gibson, Crystal Lewis, The Archers, Gary McSpadden, and speakers such as Gavin McCloud, Chuck Woolery, Rosey Grier, Dale Evans-Rogers and many others.

In 1991 Michael Heimple assumed leadership of the agency from Dave Peters and soon after made a change in the name of the agency to what is now known as Capitol Artists. In 2005, after 14 years of established representation in the Christian Contemporary music field, Capitol Artists made the wholesale change to the representation of Southern Gospel artists exclusively.

Capitol Artists continues to represent some of the finest talent and ministries in Southern Gospel music with a complete commitment to the local church.
